The Great Awakening here in Tampa has been awesome! We are seeing people get saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit. It was my first time doing the phone ministry and it was unbelievable. There were many calls, one right after the other, and the people calling were so hungry for God. One woman called and I greeted her and asked her what I could pray with her about. She simply stated, “I want to rededicate my life to Jesus and I want to be healed.” Well, she meant business with God and there was nothing that was going to get in her way. I did the Gospel Scripture card with her and she rededicated her life to Jesus! She told me she had a pinched nerve in her back. So, I literally just read the phone script for healing, which are a few healing scriptures and a simple prayer. I read it verbatim and after I prayed I asked, “How do you feel now?” She says, “Well, fine. How would I know I was healed?” I said, “Do something you couldn’t do before.” She said, “Okay, I couldn’t stand up without a lot of pain, so let me get up here. Hang on.” Suddenly she began to holler and scream ‘Hallelujah!’ I began to praise Jesus for healing her! She said she had to sleep with two heating pads every night and that she couldn’t stand up without much pain. Following, she said, “I just stood up and I have NO PAIN!!!!! Jesus healed me!!!!” So in a matter of minutes, she rededicated her life to Christ and was healed in her body. Pain Jesus, He is that amazing. –Lauren P.

I just want to shout..THANK YOU ..THANK YOU !! I’ve been watching all week and my life had been forever changed!!! everyone of us can do this for JESUS…we MUST do this for Jesus. It isn’t an option in my life anymore.

I have been to a few services in person and have been watching on TV and my spirit has been so stirred up and on fire!!!! I hadn’t witnessed to anyone in several years, but I felt compelled to witness to a lady in a restaurant today and she accepted Jesus!! Praise the Lord! I thank God for you and CTN. Keep up the awesome work you are doing!

We know we know the Lord because:

12. We are born again

witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. If we know God personally, the evidence is that we are truly born again and we manifest the characteristics of someone born of God; especially that we walk in the love of God. The old sin nature died – ceased to exist – and we became a new creature; alive unto God. We have eternal life now; it’s not just a future thing. He became like us so we could become like Him. If we truly know God, His life is living in us and His nature and character are manifested through us. If we know Him, we can’t help but be like Him.

13. We walk in righteousness

“If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.” 1 John 2:29 NKJV

“Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.” 1 John 3:7-10 NKJV

Righteousness is the hallmark of a Christian – the evidence you are really born again. Those who claim to know God, but practice sin and unrighteousness are liars. If you are born of God, you have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and you have been delivered from the power of sin. That does not mean that you will never sin or that you are not able to sin, but that you now have the will and desire to walk in righteousness and the power of the Holy Spirit at your disposal to help you to do it. You choose to submit yourself to the Word of God to obey His commands. You make the choice to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. For to us a Child is born:

Unto us: The Child, Jesus Christ, was born to Israel – not just to Judah, but to both houses of Israel. Christ was descended from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; Judah; Jesse; David; and from Israel as a nation.

To us a Child is born, to us a Son is given:
Jesus was born as a baby just like every other human. He grew up to give His life for mankind on the Cross. He was Born to be like us and to take our place – He was Given as an offering for our salvation.

The government shall be upon His shoulder:

The government – the empire – will be on His shoulders. To Him alone is given the authority to rule and the right to be the Sovereign of all the earth and the responsibility of rule, judgment and justice is upon Him.

His name shall be called:

Wonderful: a miracle; a marvelous thing

-Exodus 15:11 KJV – Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Counselor: advise; consult; to deliberate; guide. He is the only one who is supremely qualified to give counsel, advice and guidance to all.

-Psalms 16:7 AMP – I will bless the Lord, Who has given me counsel; yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.

Mighty God:

Mighty: p?owerful. By implication – warrior. Champion, chief, excel, giant, strong, valiant. God: Almighty; the Strong One. It literally means the Mighty Almighty, or the conquering God. Jesus was God in the flesh.

-John 1:1 KJV – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-1 Timothy 3:16 KJV – And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
-Hebrews 1:8 KJV – But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

-1 John 5:20 KJV – And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Everlasting Father [of Eternity]: Jesus is one third of the Trinity and was there with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning. He was there for the planning and execution of creation – nothing was done without Him. He is the Ancient of Days (Daniel 7).
 
-John 1:2-4 AMP – He was present originally with God. 3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. 4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

-Hebrews 1:1-2 NKJV – God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds.

Prince of Peace: Jesus brought peace between God and man as He reconciled the two by bearing the penalty of sin in His own body. Jesus brought about peace between men – uniting Jew and Gentile – all have sinned and all may receive forgiveness through faith.

-John 14:27-28 NKJV – Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  

-John 16:33 NKJV – These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

-Ephesians 2:14 AMP – For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us.    

-Ephesians 2:17-18 AMP – And He came and preached the glad tidings of peace to you who were afar off and [peace] to those who were near.  18 For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an introduction (access) by one [Holy] Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to approach Him].

-Philippians 4:7 NKJV – And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I am now at the beginning of my fifth month as an intern in youth and children’s ministries. There is so much involved with both areas. This week in particular has taught me so much about managing my time effectively. When we ask God to enlarge our territory like in Isaiah 54:2, He takes us up on it. A couple of weeks ago I had a paper due and I found out that I was going to be traveling with the Great Awakening Tour for an unspecified amount of time. I made sure that I had my paper done before I left.

This week however has been a little harder. I have to have 3 lesson plans made up for our children’s department because we have a conference next week. I do love making lesson plans. Then I received an assignment for school. Now we are switching curriculums for our Sunday morning children’s services and I have to study the message and train others in the new system. For youth, I’ve been put over worship because our leader stepped down and we’ve started a discipleship program with our youth which requires more one on one time being spent with them. Hallelujah! God took me at my request!

With the children in particular, it is so important to not water the Word down. There are many Christian programs that are out now that hint at Bible themes and lessons and never really get to the heart of the story. Society tells us that children aren’t prepared to handle the truths of life, but they live in the real world just like we do. They are tempted and situations arise that they need the truth about. We have done them a disservice if we don’t give them the real truth of the Word. These are lessons I couldn’t have learned volunteering once a month with the children.

Last year at this time, I was devastated by the news that my niece had a baby out of wedlock, and also because of the way in which I had been told the news by my mom, which was on a recycled Christmas card from the year before, the leftovers, and she had written the great news that my niece, her boyfriend and the new baby were coming over on Christmas day. I got the card of December 26th in the mail. It was meant to sting. I was just as devastated over her attitude and ill will. Well, this year is different. My cousin, who is a pastor in Arizona, and his wife, their daughter had a baby last September, and they were thrilled. So now I have a picture on a Christmas card of the parents, who are married, and their new baby. I looked at that picture and I just thanked God that, at last, in our family, there’s something done right and it wasn’t messed up. Thank you so much for praying for me, that God would show me good things and better days. Thank You, God! The baby’s name is Samuel.

God is awesome! I had the honor of having six youth from Desert Rose Church on my team yesterday along with two other adults-all of them were out for the first time on the streets of downtown Glendale.  The youth were ages 8 to 14.  They all led several people to Jesus. Little Victoria, age 10, led a heavily tattooed biker to Jesus.  After he prayed to receive Jesus, he said he had not to church in so tears+thanks her several times. We invited to the meetings at one of the local churches. He said he would come. I had a hard time “choking” back tears as she was sharing the incorruptible word of good news of Jesus. Hallelujah!

She and her 4 kids went soul winning.  They met 2 young men-they said after they got saved “I always wanted to do that!”  Divine appointment!!!

I went out with Jake Thursday and Friday.  I led approximately 100 people to the Lord in the last 2 days this week.  23 were Native Americans in a park.  I was able to pray at a Baptist youth concert at Arizona State Fair  Friday.  I was on stage and 46 prayed the prayer.  I also prayed with football teams at a nearby school.

(first time on the streets) Steve got out of Skyway and handed cell phone to Latrina to talk to his friend Shrek. (Muslim) Latrine led him to the Lord before we even left the parking lot and he received Jesus!  Also led Arizona police officer (off duty) to receive Jesus.

There was a group of four people.  I saw them so I went over to them and I read the first part of the script.  They said they were Christians.  So I asked if I could pray for them and rededicate their life to Christ Jesus.  They said yes so I prayed with them and got 4 rededications and 1 salvation.

(14 yrs old)When I was leading someone to Jesus, they said “I don’t want to mess up.”  So I replied “we all sin and mess up.”  Then I gave her two examples about me and someone else.  Her name was Shera.  I led 12 people to Christ.

During the July 5th evening service, at almost the end of the service My wife and I were praying with you. I felt like I needed to include my seven year old son and called him over to me. I wrapped my left arm around his side and put my right hand on his head. As we prayed I was praying for my son to be completely filled from top to bottom with the fire and spirit of God. Suddenly The palm of my right hand began to burn. It started of a little hot then as I moved my hand from his head to my son’s heart it intensified. I laid My hand on my wife’s leg to try to release some of it and give some to her. It would release for a moment then would get even hotter. It was as though there was a red hot coal in my palm, the rest of my hand and fingers were engulfed in flames. I could almost see my hand encased in flames starting from my wrist to just a few inches past my finger tips. It looked as though my had had been doused with lighter fluid, it was hot but didn’t burn my flesh. At the end of the service I was somewhat able to tell my wife what was going on. My son had said “dad had a vision”, “I’ll draw it for you”. While he was drawing it out I was able to explain what happened to me to my wife. My son Tanner had drawn almost exactly what I had felt. He said “Fire is coming from your bones and coming out of your hand and fingers. This is what you saw.” My wife asked me if I had said anything to tanner. I told her no, I couldn’t even hardly speak and only really explained it to her. God is so awesome. I love him so much. I can not live without his presence. Love ~U~

For thus says the high and lofty One—He Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, but with him also who is of a thoroughly penitent and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the thoroughly penitent [bruised with sorrow for sin]. Isaiah 57:15 AMP

Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth, lives in the realm of Eternity. He has no boundaries and no limitations—no boundaries of time or space. He can do anything He wants to do! When I say “no limits” I do not mean that He is not bound by any rules at all. He is also a good and a righteous God, therefore, even though He has no boundaries or limits, He binds and obligates Himself to His Word and all that He does is also only good.

I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]. Psalms 119:96 AMP

Everything human has its limits and comes to an end, but God is unlimited. Things of earth; things of man; will all come to nothing—only eternal things will last. The humble and repentant souls are the ones who are destined to live forever in eternity with the Father.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP

• He has made everything beautiful in its time.

God has a wonderful plan for your life. Everything He has called you to do you can do—with His help. Don’t even try to do anything in your own strength or ability. Rather trust the Holy Ghost to do His work in you and His work through you. There is a direction and a time for everything. The Holy Spirit is the one who will drop a desire in your heart that is in line with His call and purpose and it is the Holy Spirit who will prompt you when it is time to move ahead. That is why we must remain both sensitive and obedient to His voice. You will not succeed unless you implicitly follow Him on the path He has laid before you, just as the Israelites followed the presence of God—the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire—when and where they went. As long as you are walking in obedience to the Lord, everything God has spoken to you will come to pass. You can’t make it happen and you can’t stop it.

Walking in God’s will requires collaboration—us cooperating with the Holy Spirit. Never be intimidated by other people and don’t compare yourself to others. It will only make you to feel either inferior or prideful. Your identity must be in who He has made you to be and what He has called you to do. It’s not a popularity contest. Just do what He tells you to do. God’s will! Nothing more! Nothing less! Nothing else!

God has planted eternity in your heart and mind. He has a Master Plan; a plan that was activated at the foundation of the earth and has continued to work through the ages; a plan that is still being worked out. Ephesians 1:4 AMP says, “Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.”

Every one of us is part of His plan. We are called to carry out our small part of His big plan. God is the one who puts a divinely implanted sense of purpose in your heart. He puts the desire in your heart and only He can satisfy that desire!

• Yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

No one can figure God out or know what He knows or what He is doing, so don’t even try. That is why it is so important to obey even if we don’t understand it all; even if we don’t have all the information. The Lord expects us to trust Him. He is blessed and glorified when we trust Him. You are not displaying weakness to trust God—you are displaying strength. The weak individuals are the ones who trust the arm of the flesh.

Eternity is planted in your heart; live your life for eternity; make your life, and everything you do, count for eternity!

The day after Thanksgiving 2006 I was involved in a near fatal motorcycle wreck on I75.I was drug over 400 feet by an savior broke my back and my neck. I tore every muscle in my back and twisted my knee and ankle totally backwards. I have scars from one end of my body to another. I walk and live by the Grace of God almighty. On the last day of Holy Spirit weekend in June I said to Pastor Rodney when I met him for the first time that come hell and high water I would be at camp meeting. All hell broke loose in my life and body all through June. My foot and ankle Doctor told me the damage was so severe in my right foot that a bone fusion would be needed which would cripple my foot some. I refused the diagnosis and by the Grace of God I have been in camp meeting all week. Circumstances have over and again tried to keep me from my commitment. Tonight all I could do was holler Jesus!Jesus!Jesus!until I thought I would pass out because the anointing was so powerful.God healed my foot completely tonight. No pain. No ripping feelings. I jumped and danced tonight as I have never in my life done. I have no pain in my back neck legs nothing Praise God! I cannot wait till morning to get back to camp meeting.
