The heart of God is souls. We can see this even in the Old Testament. For example in Exodus 3:7-8 it reads: “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters and oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and trials. And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand and power of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a land good and large, a land flowing with milk and honey.” The affliction today is sin and God hears the cry of His people. Jesus came down to deliver the world from the hand and power of sin. My cry to God is for Him to burn a fire, a passion in my heart for souls like He has. Jesus went to the extreme to save me and I desire to give my all for His purpose, souls. A great way I found to get a passion for souls is through prayer and to attend a Rodney Howard –Browne meeting. He holds meetings all around the United States of America called The Great Awakening Tour. In these meeting he wins the lost and teaches others how to do it.

That scripture you quoted about the need for deliverance from oppression,trials and suffering reminded me that people are hurting today like I was before I met Jesus. I never get used to the flowing milk and honey because I asked the Lord to never let me forget what it was like without Him. The itinerary you are talking about at revival that lists the cities he is going to is so exciting..like you said praying for the oppressed souls in those cities increases my hunger to see God move even more on behalf of the lost.

Yes the Lord sees the sorrows and the sufferings and the trials of the lost. He desires for us to be His hands and feet – to go and touch a lost and dying world. A good way to do this is to go to a meeting called The Great Awakening Tour. He has a team of people that goes out and wins the Lost and trains people how to do it.
